“Your body stores traumatic experiences. No matter how much you intellectualize or try to think through it, it won’t be processed until you fully feel it. Somatic breathwork allows you to process and release that emotion that’s keeping your body in a survival state”

Here’s a two minute centering exercise you can do with your eyes open or closed to reduce stress, ground yourself and optimise calm 🌅
To connect away from the busy thinking mind to the being state of breathing.
Settling in… And settling down.
The first step is to breathe.
Your breath is always in the present. When you connect to your breath, you will be in the present.
And as you settle into your breathing, you might also begin to sense the alignment in your spine.
Sense your spine as soft… and luminous ✨
Imagine a gentle thread of light at the crown of your head, just gently pulling you up, lifting the crown of your head up to the sky.
Another way to help your spine become longer is to gently lift and open your chest.
Take a few moments to breathe up and down… inside of your spine… so your consciousness begins to shift from muscle tension to that simple energetic, subtle feeling in your spine.
Stay there… And enjoy the pleasant sense of breathing… up and down through the spine.
As if your breath can bring energy all the way up from the Earth through the soles of your feet and up through your spine to your neck.
As you breathe up… and down… through the inside of your spine… you might bring a very simple self-blessing…
Maybe a word like self-care or self-love or self-acceptance…
Something that you can use to bring compassion towards your center ♥️
